Shaping a cross-border investigative project

An international journalism nonprofit was funding a major investigation into electric vehicle supply chains, with reporting spanning South Asia and China. The project required journalists with deep regional expertise, a strong investigative proposal, and a clear reporting plan to bring together contributors working across multiple countries.

Nüora Global Advisors brought in journalists specializing in China-related reporting and fact-checking to lead the Chinese side of the investigation. Working with the editor based in South Asia and the project lead, we refined the proposal and investigative approach, facilitated collaboration among contributors, and provided fact-checking to ensure accuracy and consistency. The result was a cohesive reporting team, a clear investigative plan, and rigorous fact-checking throughout the project.
